Cheesesteak Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh large white mushrooms
  • ¼ pound thinly sliced rare deli roast beef, diced small
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced very small
  • 1 red bell pepper, minced very small
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red or white wine (optional, but makes a nice difference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Lightly grease a large baking pan
  3. Wash and remove stems from mushrooms.
  4. Divide cheese evenly into two bowls.
  5. Mix one of the cheese bowls with all of the other ingredients.
  6. Generously fill each mushroom and place filled-side up into the pan.
  7. Top the mushrooms with the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-30 minutes until tops are golden brown.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
